What a lovely way to ring in the new year! The views are spectacular and we had the full range of weather - sunny, cold, foggy, rainy - we loved it all. We enjoyed the hot tub, the well appointed kitchen and the fact we were on the top of the hill so I didn't have to kill myself when I went walking! 2010 here we come.

What a beautiful home. This is the first time we have stayed in Tomales area. Usually we stay in Sea Ranch and this made our trip so much easier! Everything in your home makes for a relaxing time. The games kept us busy and the wine cooler kept us well refreshed! Thanks for the bottle of Pino Gris! An amazing time away for a 50th birthday celebration. We had a wonderful, small, private, handfasting here on 2/20. It was perfect. the sun came out upon our arrival and the clouds stayed clear until it set. I am so grateful that we ended up in the Beachnest aka Lovenest. Last night our guests left and we had our honeymoon. I couldn't have asked for a better setting.

Wow! What a luxuriousopulentt experience. We spent 2 nights & 2 days and we want to live here!!! The view on Monday was fabulous once the sun came out. The whistling (sometimes howling)wind on Sunday night with heavy and light rain was like a musical accompaniment as we fell asleep.

We will need more brochures. I have several more friends and family members who would love this place. We would love to spend a week or 2 here. I can understand why you have so many repeat guests. It was very nice to have some time to relax together.

The kids loved the hot tub. Never in our wildrest dreams did we expect summer weather during mid-winter. Very very strange, but none the less, worked to our advantage. Perfect for a young family of four!!

Thank you for the wine. Your home is one of the nicest we have stayed in since we have been coming to Dillon. Although, the weather was not cooperative until our final day. The comfort of your home made up for it. Our daughters loved a drive up the stormy coast on the 14th. We did try to brave a walk on the beach on the 15th but soon surrendered back to this base camp. Today, however, the beauty is unmatched, after 15 years of vacations in Dillon we have never tired of the experience, every stay is special and this one will be remembered due to this home of yours.

We had such a relaxing stay at Beachnest. The decor is fabulous with many special touches. Each room flows with the next and makes for a peaceful and restful home away from home. The week was a treat for us and we felt so comfortable in the atmosphere you created. Additionally, we enjoyed the quietness of the area, the views of the hills, ocean, and beach and the abundant deer, rabbits and birds that strolled by each day. Our time at the Beachnest has been filled with such fun times for our family. Once we realized I was going to be way too cold to swim and surg in the water, we embarked on some very hillarious road trips! Don's Dogs in Monte Rio-yum, tidepools early in the AM, biked King's Ridge (Remo's amazing) balloon ride in Sonoma followed by a cool wine tour at Sterling in Calistoga, Schulz Museum, Sonoma Lake, Hwy 1 as far as we could get the girls to stay in the car, sunned on the beach, hot tubbed oon the deck, played scrabble on the deck, watched turkey vultures soar the sky, jack rabbits and eer feed off the hills, dinner at William Tell's, breakfast at Dillon Beach Cafe, fried oysters in Bodega Bay and in general had an absolute "hoot" of a time. We love Northern California! From the Redwoods to the vinyards to the beaches - WOW!

Escaping the 100+ heat of our area was all that got us through the past week. We were thrilled when we came over the hill ento the marine layer! The atrium is a dream - something I'd love to add to my home. the kids went immediately to the conga drums! While here we saw hawks, bunnies and a Mommy and Daddy quail with newborns. Three of us took advantage of the tub upstairs - lovely and relaxingThe view, the house, the hot tub, the beach, the wine, the ...etc. So wonderful...What a pieve of heaven!

this is the fifth home we have rented in over fifteen years at Dillon Beach and yours is the top of the list for comfort, sense of style, beautiful decor, outstanding view. The well equipped kitchen served our cooking needs and the spa was an added feature. We lucked out with a week of sunshine. My husband Kenn surprised me with this weekend for our 9th anniversary. (He tells me he really thought it was our 10th.) Last year we both forgot our anniversary so this year he vowed to make it special and it was that and more!

What a great place to re-unite with loved ones. It was a celebration of my sister's 50th birthday and an opportunity to catch up with my lovely cousin Agnela and her "sweet heart" Mike who resides in San Jose. Sitting in the hot tub in the misty rain and lying by the fire as the wind howled outside made the weekend truly magical and a great retreat from busy bay-area life. We've all been to Hawaii copious times and we all agree there's never been a more spectacular sunset than Dillon Beach November 29th. It lasted for 90 minutes! What a comfortable house to enjoy and relax. Great kitchen too! If you can't get mellow here, you need professional help!

This was the first of our "girls" weekends after knowing each other for 7 years. We have been talking about it for about 7 years! We successfully walked down to the beach and back on Saturday. We've seen huge vultures, curious deer, a slithering nest of snakes (not too close to the house), bunnies and a birds nest above the hot tub. We had a wonderful time.

We sent many hours on the internet looking for the perfect accommodations for our 25th anniversary before choosing "Beachnest". We are native Floridians and love the ocean, so we decided we would like to stay near the ocean.
Once we arrived in California, we visited all the places that we considered staying before choosing Beachnest. After seeing these places, although beautiful, so happy we chose Beachnest. We looked forward to coming back here every evening, to enjoy a view like none other.

This has been an incredible four days. The home, the view, he experience has been so wonderful. It has all been surreal. It has been a perfect place to begin our honeymoon and we thank you for all the steps you took to make this relaxing and comfortable for us. We have been truly blessed to have stayed here and were able to enjoy the nearby towns and move at a much slower pace. This has felt like home and we thank you for that. We cannot wait until we can come back again.

Do I begin by relaying the night? It had everything to do with accommodations. The bottle of Chardonnay you kindly left for us, the fireplace, candles, the lead up to the hot tub, the moon, a silver moon and those innocent reminders that the world is round, man is fundamentally good. This time and place opens up a level of communication I don't remember experiencing. I feel so embarrassingly transparent. If you understand the liberation each of us knew tonight, perhaps, even a child will be consummated, and she will be called Oceana.

Thank you John and Linda for sharing your beautiful retreat with us. We really enjoyed it all and the beautiful view and all the little extras were especially nice. The hot tub was so relaxing after our trips to the wine country, Bodega Bay, Petaluma, and San Francisco. We also enjoyed eating at the Sandpiper, Lucas Wharf, and Volpi's. We are taking back with us beautiful memories a we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. Thanks again.

I had no idea we were coming here. My husband totally surprised me for our 20th wedding anniversary. Your home is beautifully decorated and is very comfortable. The view and sunsets are spectacular. I especially enjoyed our walks on the beach along the Pacific. It is so quiet and peaceful here. We were totally relaxed.

Our second time at the Beachnest and it's still lovely! The weather couldn't have been better - blue skies, no fog. We walked on the beach every day, the relaxed in the hot tub every evening while watching the sun go down. We'll be back again. It's like our home away from home.
